Job Specification:

This Pharmacist in Charge role is suited to either an experienced PIC or a Pharmacist ready to step into their first leadership position with structured mentoring from a highly respected leader within the community pharmacy world.

You will oversee daily operations, lead a large team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and professional services.

The pharmacy operates using Minfos with a Consis robot and is supported by a strong team including multiple pharmacists, dispensing technicians, and a large retail team led by an experienced Retail Manager. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a focus on efficiency, service delivery, and continuous improvement.

Services include vaccinations and a small volume of medicinal cannabis, with DAA packing managed by a technician. The roster averages 40 hours per week across five days, including every third weekend, with time off during the week when weekend is worked.

Skills Required:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
  • 3-5 years' experience as registered Pharmacist preferred.
  • Leadership capability or readiness to step into a PIC role.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • Commitment to professional services and patient care.
  • Passion for pharmacy and leading a great team into the future.

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly rate of $50-$60 + super, depending on experience.
Structured mentoring provided for first-time PICs.
