Client & Location Information: A rural town in the Western Downs Chinchilla is known as the Melon Capital of Australia. Located approximately 300kms North West of Brisbane and West North West of Toowoomba. Beautiful parks and walks, renowned fishing, historic museum, the big melon and Chinchilla Weir alongside charming local shops.


Job Specification: You will be dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently using Z dispense and Meditech. Providing counselling to patients on their use of medications, OTC products and other related services. You will be supported by 1 part time pharmacist, 1 tech and 3 other shop staff, including a FT experienced Retail Manager. Vaccinating is optional but preferred. You will be providing advice for primary health presentations eg rashes and wounds. You will be required to oversee the DAA packs (150-200pts). And you will assist in PPA eg medschecks.


Dates: Choose your adventure:
Option 1: Mondays to Saturdays commencing Tuesday 7th May to Saturday 27th July.
Option 2: Wednesdays to Saturdays commencing Wednesday 8th May to Saturday 27th July.
Option 3: Mondays to Saturdays commencing Tuesday 7th May to Saturday 21st September.
Option 4: Wednesdays to Saturdays commencing Wednesday 8th May to Satruday 21st September.
The minimum work days are Wednesday to Saturday (Saturday you will be sole). If choosing this option you can start at 10am on Wednesday rather than 8.30 so you can drive on the day.


Hours:
Monday to Friday // 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Saturday // 8.30am - 1pm.
Closed Sunday and Public Holidays.

Experience essential.
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience as a sole pharamcist essential.
* Ability to work in a busy community pharmacy.


Salary and Benefits:
Weekdays: $70/hr + super.
Weekends: $75/hr + super.

Extras:
Mileage $0.96 per klm from Brisbane or similar.
Flights ONLY IF TAKING Option 1 or 3.
