Your main objective is to provide quality clinical pharmacy services and patient care within a hospital as part of a small professional team within a state of the art facility on the east coast of New Zealand's north island. You will provide clinical pharmacy services including dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions in accordance with legal requirements and departmental policies together with extemporaneous compounding effectively tailored to an individual patient's needs. A knowledge of Cytotoxic drug products preparation to high standard and related waste are handled in accordance with documented procedures that ensure the safety of personnel and the environment and dispensing to the Wards of the Hospital.
* Well developed knowledge or passion for the clinical side of pharmacy, an ability to work cohesively within a team
* BPharm or equivalent qualification
* Registered Pharmacist with a current annual practicing certificate
* Accuracy with figures/numeracy skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Commitment to ongoing education
Salary and benefits
