Community pharmacy located in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. The town is a popular gateway for exploring the red centre. It is a major business and service hub for Central Australia with great facilities. Fantastic national parks to explore through Uluru.
Job Specification
Locum Dates: Locum pharmacist required for an ASAP start for 4-6 weeks (or longer until permanent pharmacist is found).
Work hours: Usually a 7 day roster - locum is likely to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
As the team pharmacist, you will be working alongside 6 other pharmacists in this store and 5 dispensary technicians with a busy script trade. Lots of staff support available. The store dispenses 2000 websters per week, which are all packed by the technicians.
Your duties will include:
* providing a high level of clinical pharmacy and support service to all staff and clients.
* providing leadership, support and assistance to all staff
Experience Required
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience with Fred dispense
* Staff management and high level of pharmacy knowledge and experience
* Experience in off site contractual pharmacy supply and remote area work will be highly regarded
Salary & Benefits
$45/hr+ super Mon to Friday, $50/hr+super Saturday and $65/hr+ super Sunday. Travel expenses and accommodation provided.
