An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge to join a specialised medicinal cannabis dispensary on the southern end of Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. Job Specification:

As Pharmacist in Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including staff management and rostering, while working alongside three other Pharmacists.

The dispensary uses Z Software. You will be supported by three dispensary technicians and two additional staff members. Your responsibilities will include medicinal cannabis dispensing and, once comfortable with your knowledge, communicating with patients when they collect their prescriptions.

Previous medicinal cannabis experience is welcomed but not essential. Comprehensive training in medicinal cannabis, relevant regulations and dispensing requirements can be provided. The key attributes sought are curiosity, a genuine willingness to learn, proven team leadership skills and clear, open communication.

Skills Required:

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
Previous pharmacy management or team leadership experience.
Strong communication and staff management skills.
Interest in medicinal cannabis and willingness to develop specialist knowledge. Medicinal cannabis experience highly regarded but not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

$60-$65 per hour plus superannuation.
