Pharmacist in Charge (or Pharmacist) | Gold Coast QLD

This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in an expanding area of pharmacy practice. Comprehensive training is provided, making this role ideal for pharmacists who are passionate about patient care, enjoy learning new clinical areas, and thrive in a collaborative workplace with established systems and processes.

Job Specification

Working alongside another pharmacist and supported by a dedicated dispensary technician and clinic concierge, you will oversee the safe and efficient dispensing of Schedule 8 medicinal cannabis prescriptions within a private, non-PBS pharmacy. Depending on your experience and career goals, the position is available as either a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacist.

You will utilise Z Dispense, maintain exceptional compliance standards before and after dispensing, and contribute to the smooth operation of a well-organised pharmacy focused on operational excellence and outstanding patient service.

The pharmacy operates Monday to Saturday (Sunday trading at Coolangatta only), with two full-time roster options available:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday

Each roster includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Skills Required

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist..
• Reliable with a proactive, can-do attitude..
• High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy..
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Interest in or advocacy for medicinal cannabis.
• Ability to follow established procedures while contributing to continuous improvement.

Salary & Benefits

• Pharmacist in Charge: $120,000 plus superannuation.
• Pharmacist: $110,000 plus superannuation.
