A well-established community pharmacy in the Paraparaumu area of New Zealand's beautiful K?piti Coast is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join its friendly team.

Located close to the Kapiti Lights shopping precinct with free parking nearby, the pharmacy offers an attractive coastal lifestyle within easy reach of Wellington. Enjoy long sandy beaches, views towards Kapiti Island and an abundance of outdoor activities, with Wellington approximately 40 minutes away by car or one hour by train.

Job Specification

This is a full time position, primarily Monday to Friday, with one Saturday in three. Pharmacy hours are 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday, with sole charge required on Saturdays only. You will work alongside an experienced Dispensary Team of three Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians and four other staff.

The role offers broad professional services including ECP, TMP, sildenafil, UTI and OCP services, alongside vaccinations. There are two consulting rooms and some nursing homes servicing.

Skills Required

• Current New Zealand Pharmacist registration
• Ideally two or more years of community pharmacy experience.
• Vaccination accreditation but not essential.
• Experience across relevant pharmacy professional services.
• Strong organisational, communication and patient counselling skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable engaging with a diverse community.

Salary & Benefits

NZ$55-NZ$60 per hour, depending on experience and professional accreditations.
