Job Specification

This permanent position is available on either a full-time basis (preferred) or permanent part-time for the right candidate.

You'll work as part of a collaborative dispensary team, providing high-quality patient care through:

  • Accurate dispensing and checking of prescriptions
  • Patient counselling and S2/S3 recommendations
  • Vaccinations and UTI consultations (training provided if required)
  • Webster packing and aged care services
  • Medication management and professional services
  • Developing skills in non-sterile compounding alongside an experienced compounding team

The roster includes 2-3 closing shifts per week (finishing at 7pm) along with a shared weekend roster.

Skills Required

  • General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • Australian working rights
  • 1 year minimum experience as a pharmacist in Australia.
  • Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
  • Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a busy team

Experience with the following would be highly regarded but is not essential:

  • Vaccinations
  • UTI consultation services
  • Non-sterile compounding
  • Webster packing and aged care
  • Methadone services
