Locum Pharmacist

Client and Location information:

Hospital pharmacy located in a coastal city located on the east cape of New Zealand's North Island surrounded by beautiful surf beaches, amazing wineries and lots of sunshine.

Dates & Hours: Asap up to 12 months - will split between multiple locums.

Note: For Pharmacist with Hospital Experience would need to take at least one month minimum contract

For a Community Pharmacist with NO or LIMITED Hospital experience there would be at least one months training to be able to cover the full workload so a community Pharmacy with have to accept a minimum 3 months or longer contract.

Work hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm. Also would need to be on call every 5 weeks but not initially,, depending on the start date and the locums experience, but once they start the on call its one Saturday and Sunday in 5 and hours are 10.00 to 1pm.

Job Specification:
As the Clinical Pharmacist you will be doing medicine reconciliations for the ward, patient counselling and dispensary work. Working alongside 2 other Pharmacists in the dispensary and providing on call services. You will be a sole pharmacist when on call.

Experience Required:

* Registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
* Current PDA insurance.
* Previous Clinical pharmacy experience would be an advantage but not necessary, community pharmacists will be considered.
* A Pharmacist with hospital experience would need to commit to one month or longer contract.
* A Community Pharmacist with limited or no hospital experience would need to commit to a minimum contract of three months.

Salary and benefits: Neg on experience.
Plus Accommodation for non locals and Travel (flights or mileage.) Accommodation is self contained on site units with up to 3 bedrooms, would be able to accommodate partner/family if required.
